District 16 Motions

Motion proposals are presented at the District 16 Business Meeting. Motions must be submitted on our official Motions Form, which can be downloaded from the the Forms page.

We began listing motions on this page on July 20, 2011. Motions prior to July 20 are kept on file but not available for download from our website.

Status Column Terms

Tabled: The motion was not determined to be "urgent and/or administrative" and was not voted on, allowing time for GSRs to take the motion to their Groups for discussion. Debate on a tabled motion will resume under old business at the next District Business Meeting, at which time GSRs can share the input they received from their Groups.

Passed: The motion was determined to be "urgent and/or administrative" and was voted on. A simple majority of the voting body of the District Business Meeting voted in favor of the motion. The motion has been adopted.

Failed: The motion was determined to be "urgent and/or administrative" and was voted on. A simple majority of the voting body of the District Business Meeting voted against the motion. The motion will not be adopted.
